This will always haunt me for the rest of my working days .... that I never knew, nor will I ever know, the excitement of the Monday and the Friday feeling.
In the girls case .... I doubt if her grief is job related!
This was done with a soft pencil on a very thin piece of white cardboard, 3"x8", drawn in about five minutes.
I'm glad it meant something for you Lilikens.
My 23y young daughter was rushed into the emergency (NO Covid-19!) unit last Friday, was only released yesterday .... there have been tears at our house!
Maybe it was her that I drew this morning and for sure, it was my inside feeling.
The description mentioned was something I had trouble with all my life. I always came in whistling at work on Monday morning, where everybody else felt you should be complaining while it was Monday, the start of the working week.
Nobody liked me on Mondays!!
I’m so glad your daughter is home! That must have been a terrible ordeal. No wonder why the crying girl was created - she was born from your stress and anxiety.
As far as mondays go - I don’t really have a problem with any day of the week since we work every day, but I do give people the side eye when they are cheerful and bubbly at 8am. It’s clearly a work of dark magic to be happy that early in the morning.
if you like Lilikens, the creation is yours. Drop me a mail!

So happy you cheered on this, till next one!
It's okay Tom, I am hardly geting there myself. The tsunami of new creations is a wonderful thing yet I cannot see and/or comment them all anymore. Pity!
Capturing confusion? No worries, I have several possibilities for that, will create those soon and upload them!
Till soon my friend!
And many thanks for my daughter's wishes!
Heather, I always admire your admiration and empathy!
THANK YOU my friend!
I’d be honored voy! I will email you as soon as I get out of work thank you ☺️

This hits close to home. It made me think about stressful times at work without even reading your description. I think all of us in my pharmacy team have snuck back into the consultation room to shed a few tears over the years - more so this year. There’s only a handful of times that a piece of art immediately just took me somewhere else and invoked emotions and memory. This one is special to me - thank you for creating it Voy.
